I know the website has not been updated for quite a while but I am also aware how easy would be to write loads of information that simply tells the same story from different venues that I play. Over the last few years I have had a wonderful series of experiences playing in venues as different as the corner of a village pub on a Wednesday evening to the opening night of a remodelled village hall.

I had a great time singing in the Ascot Lounge at Pennyhill Park. The drinks at the bar are amazing and the atmosphere there is terrific. If you've thought of going for an evening there on a special occasion but held back I totally recommend it - the food there is excellent and, as you probably know, the Latymer is a Michelin Two Star Restaurant so go on, spoil someone or simply treat yourself.

The last twelve months have been a very different year for me and my singing!

As I was not singing as often I was persuaded by my lovely lady to go to a song and drinks night run by the Hampshire and Surrey Hills Men's Choir. I signed up there and then and have become a fully fledged member of the choir. I love it - singing structured and rehearsed songs with men of a similar age to me is great fun.

I also went to an Open Mic evening at The Cabin in Camberley last year and within one evening decided to go there and sing whenever it was going to run. It has now become a monthly event - every third Sunday of the month - and I make sure I'm there!

I have teamed up with a great harmonica player called Dave and for the last six months or so we have been responsible for making sure the evening runs as smoothly as possible. We have now been joined for the songs we do by a bass player, Andy. So, David, Andy and Dave have became a band! Funnily enough we are going to call ourselve DAD!!
